I first read about the KTM RC4 on a motorcycle blog (maybe this Asphalt & Rubber article) a year or so ago and was thoroughly intrigued by the idea. KTM themselves hadn’t decided to make a cool single cylinder supersport machine but some tuners in Germany took it upon themselves to make their own out of a KTM 690R.
A recent article by Performance Bike had reignited the slow burn I’ve had for this bike, and I got to thinking about ways I could justify acquiring one for myself. These thoughts inspired this decision tree.
Ultimately I’m not ready to sell the Panigale yet but a RC4 would make for a tasty replacement.
